Frequently 'Axed' Questions

ALRIGHT NOW, WHAT IS THIS ‘AXE THROWING’?!

Axe throwing is like bowling 2.0.
It’s also like darts, but actually fun.
Throw a sharp axe at a big, painted, wooden target.
Score points by getting the axe stuck.
Closer to bullseye = More Points.

IS IT SAFE?!

No, it’s incredibly dangerous.

Just Kidding, Of course it is! We’ve got a fully trained staff of awesome coaches to make sure everyone is good to go. It might not look like it, but Axe throwing is a very safe sport as long as the participants use common sense and listen to their coach. ‘CoMmOn wHaT?’

WILL YOU TEACH US TO THROW?!

No, it doesn’t take long to figure it out on your own. We recommend booking two hours, the first hour to figure it out and the second hour to actually enjoy it.

Again, Just Kidding! Yes, before your session, a coach will teach you everything you need to know! Safety, scoring, and throwing rules will all be covered by the coach. After that, our coaches will monitor the throwing area to drop knowledge and tips where they’re needed. Our coaches are there for your enjoyment and your safety.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?!

1 Hour – $23/Person
90 Minutes – $33/Person
2 Hours – $40/Person
Pricing changes for FACILITY RENTALS.

HOW CAN I GIVE YOU MY MONEY?

A Credit Card with a name on it, preferably yours.
Or Apple Pay.
We don’t do Samsung Pay though, not sure if that really exists.

DO I NEED A RESERVATION?!

Reservations are not required but they are highly recommended. If you don’t have a reservation we can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to throw any axes (Sad Face). If you make a reservation by clicking here, we can guarantee you’ll have a dedicated lane for your group.

WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?

Kids aren’t allowed. lol
Ages 13-17 can come in but they must be with an adult.
Ages 18 and older can come in on their own.
(but hopefully they have friends that they can come with)

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A LARGE GROUP?!

Don’t sweat it, you can still reserve your spot and we’ll make sure you get to throw! Parties of less than 4 MIGHT be partnered with other smaller groups if we’re busy. But don’t worry. If you are partnered with another group, you’ll make new life long axe throwing buddies and you can follow each other on the gram.

WHAT IF I GET HUNGRY?
I’M SURE I’LL GET HUNGRY, MAYBE EVEN THIRSTY.

We do allow outside food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Be sure you bring enough to share, we don’t feed our coaches!

WHAT ABOUT ALCOHOL?

We’ve got you covered, we offer a variety of beer and wine at our bar!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

All throwers MUST wear CLOSED TOED SHOES.
Everything else is free game.
High heels and baggy clothes probably aren’t a good idea though.
